# Grand Cayman Beekeeping Experience – Hands-On Hive Tour

**Guidekin's take:** Suit up and open a live hive with a beekeeper at a working apiary. Refreshments and pickup from designated meeting points are included; reaching the pickup point costs extra, and bookings require at least two people. 4.76 from 33 reviews at €132 per person for 1h 30m.

## Overview

This is not a typical sightseeing tour—it’s a hands-on beekeeping experience at a private working apiary.

Guests have the rare opportunity to suit up, open a live hive, and interact directly with thousands of honey bees under the guidance of a local beekeeper.

With small group sizes and a fully interactive format, each session offers a more personal and immersive experience than traditional tours. You’ll not only learn how honey is made—you’ll take part in the process and harvest a sample directly from the hive.

Hosted by a local Cayman beekeeping operation, this experience offers a unique connection to the island’s natural environment that most visitors never see.
