# Notre Dame Private and Semi-Private Guided Tour

**Guidekin's take:** A Notre-Dame tour that starts with the façade so the interior makes sense when you enter, and tells the story of the fire honestly: what is original, what is restored. Private and small semi-private formats only.

In our comparison: #151 of 167 in Private Tours, by rating weighted by review volume (table below).

## Overview

This is not just an entry to the cathedral — it is a guided understanding of Notre-Dame. The visit begins outside, where your guide explains the façade, sculptures, and Gothic architecture so that, once inside, you recognize what you are seeing instead of simply walking through.

You will also learn the full story of the 2019 fire: what burned, what survived, and how the cathedral was rebuilt using traditional techniques. Many visitors leave without knowing which parts are original and which are restored — this tour makes it clear.

Groups are limited or private for a comfortable experience, with time for questions and photos. When public access is open, your guide accompanies you inside and highlights the key areas, helping you avoid confusion and make the most of your visit.
