This tour aims to answer the questions that a typical tour would not. Have you ever wondered why Greek and Roman sculptures are so poorly endowed or what really made the Mona Lisa so famous? Art has always pushed the boundaries of society and artists are often inspired by sex, scandals, and the tumultuous relationships that surround them.  No topic is off-limits and questions you may have been perhaps too polite to ask will be answered. With such a vast collection of art work at the Louvre there is bound to be a scandal or two! Please note, this tour is for people eighteen or older. Please contact us if you would like us to make an exception. ## Before you book - Meeting point: Your guide will be holding a Fat Cat… - Entry ticket included: skip the ticket desk - Max 6 people: small group - Starts 09:30, 14:00, 18:00: 3 departures a day - Food not included: bring or buy your own - Wheelchair accessible: operator-marked - Strollers OK: infants accepted - Age 18+: Minimum age is 18 years **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €189 per person for the Scandals Louvre option; other options up to €270 - Duration: 2h 30m - Rating: 5.0/5 from 52 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Operator: Fat Cat Tours - Group: Shared, up to 6 travellers · private option available - Guide languages: English - Tickets: Admission included - Start times: 09:30, 14:00, 18:00 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-03 ## Reviews 5.0 from 52 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 100% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 52 of 52. - 5 stars: 52 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 star: 0 (0%) ### What reviewers say Reviewers praise engaging art history and scandal stories; the route focuses on selected highlights **Praised:** - Guides make the art and its historical context easier to understand - Scandal stories and humour keep the tour engaging - Small groups allow personal attention and questions - A focused route helps make a large museum manageable **Complaints:** - No explicit complaints are reported in the supplied reviews Written by Guidekin from the 50 most recent English reviews on Viator & Tripadvisor (2021-10-18 to 2026-05-30); last checked 2026-10-03. ## Tour options Prices are the operator's current list price for two travellers (whole euros); options sold only to bigger parties say so; pick the option on the booking page. | Option | Price | Guide languages | Details | |---|---|---|---| | Scandals Louvre | €189 / person | English | Option 1: With such a vast collection of art work at the Louvre there is bound to be a scandal or two!
