## Overview

If you are staying in Santorini and you would like to see the best of the south of the island, this tour is ideal for you. South of the island includes some of the major attractions, places of archaeological interest and lovely villages. Take a tour with one of our licensed local guides that can guide you also inside Akrotiri!.

Akrotiri which is one of the most stunning archaeological sites in the world! This remarkably well-preserved ancient Minoan city was buried by a volcanic eruption 3,600 years ago. Archaeologists discovered at the site pottery, furniture, advanced drainage systems, and three-story buildings. Many believe the disaster and the site itself were the inspiration behind Plato’s story of Atlantis.
