Throughout the evening, our experienced team monitors live weather, cloud cover, and aurora activity to find the most promising viewing locations. Praised by guests for their knowledge, enthusiasm, and determination, our guides have even been called true “Aurora Whisperers.” Rather than following a fixed route, they adapt the journey in search of darker skies, clearer conditions, and stronger activity. Along the way, learn about the science behind the Aurora and receive practical tips for photographing it with your phone or camera. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate while waiting beneath Iceland’s night sky. As sightings cannot be guaranteed, you may join one additional scheduled departure free of charge if no Northern Lights are seen, subject to availability. ## Before you book - Hotel pickup: no car needed - Starts 21:00, 22:00: 2 departures a day - Food not included: Food and additional beverages **Pickup:** Hotel pickup included ## Key facts - Price: from €77 per person for the NL from Bus Stop #12 option; other options up to €86 - Duration: 4h - Rating: 4.62/5 from 73 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Operator: Magic Iceland Travel - Group: Shared tour - Guide languages: English - Start times: 21:00, 22:00 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-22 ## Reviews 4.62 from 73 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 92% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 67 of 73. - 5 stars: 57 (78%) - 4 stars: 10 (14%) - 3 stars: 2 (3%) - 2 stars: 2 (3%) - 1 star: 2 (3%) ## Tour options Prices are the operator's current list price for two travellers (whole euros); options sold only to bigger parties say so; pick the option on the booking page. | Option | Price | Guide languages | Details | |---|---|---|---| | NL from Bus Stop #12 | €77 / person | English | - | | NL with pick up | €86 / person | English | Pickup included | ## What's included - Join local experts praised by guests as true “Aurora Whisperers” - Free retry tour if no Northern Lights are seen (subject to availability) - Learn how to capture the Northern Lights with your phone or camera - Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate beneath Iceland’s winter sky - Follow live forecasts to find clear skies and stronger aurora activity - Travel comfortably with onboard Wi-Fi and restroom facilities ## Not included - Food and additional beverages - Personal expenses ## Itinerary 1. **Iceland** (3h) - Embark on an unforgettable Aurora Hunt as you leave the city behind and follow the night sky to Iceland’s best Northern Lights viewing spots.
