Colosseum, Forum and Palatine tickets are included at €79 per person, the Forum unguided. No arena or underground, and mark who is an adult and who is a child when booking. In our comparison: #92 of 132 in Colosseum, Forum & Palatine Tours, by rating weighted by review volume (table below). ## Overview Discover the Colosseum’s regular-access levels with two ways to visit: follow a guided route or enjoy more freedom to explore at your own pace. Choose the 1-h Guided Tour to enter the Colosseum with your guide and follow a complete guided route through its main levels. It’s the best choice if you want your guide by your side inside the monument, bringing its history and stories to life as you explore. Choose the 45-minute Intro + Independent Visit for more freedom inside the Colosseum. Your guide will first give you a thorough introduction, bringing the history and highlights to life, then you’ll enter on your own with your included ticket and explore the main levels at your own pace. Unlike a guided visit inside, you won’t be tied to a fixed route or group, so you can move around freely and stay as long as you wish. Both options include Colosseum access to the main levels and entry to the Roman Forum. Arena, Underground and upper-level access are not included. ## Before you book - Meeting point: Meet us at the green kiosk at street… - Entry ticket included: skip the ticket desk - Group size varies by option: max 16 from €79 · max 7 from €99 · private from €319 - 14 start times: between 09:00 and 17:30 - Wheelchair accessible: operator-marked - Strollers OK: infants accepted - Children from €59: ages 0 to 17 **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €79 per person for the Guided Intro + Self-led Visit option; other options up to €319 - Duration: 45m–1h - Rating: 4.76/5 from 244 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Likely to sell out - Operator: TOURIKS - Group: Group size varies by option: max 16 from €79 · max 7 from €99 · private from €319 - Guide languages: German, Portuguese, English, Italian, French, Spanish - Tickets: Admission included - Start times: 14 start times between 09:00 and 17:30 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-03 ## Reviews 4.76 from 244 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 93% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 226 of 244. - 5 stars: 221 (91%) - 4 stars: 5 (2%) - 3 stars: 8 (3%) - 2 stars: 2 (1%) - 1 star: 8 (3%) ### What reviewers say Reviewers praise the guides' historical detail, but the itinerary and access sometimes differ from what was booked. **Praised:** - Engaging explanations of Roman history through stories and humour - Detailed answers to visitors' questions - Smooth entry into the Colosseum with less time spent queuing - Visual aids help explain the history and significance of the sites **Complaints:** - Late changes to tour times or itineraries disrupt existing plans - Some visitors report missing underground access they believed they had booked - Poor headset audio makes some guides difficult to understand - Unclear Forum entry deadlines or ticket validity leave some visitors unable to enter Written by Guidekin from the 100 most recent English reviews on Viator & Tripadvisor (2024-05-21 to 2026-08-31); last checked 2026-10-03. ## Tour options Prices are the operator's current list price for two travellers (whole euros); options sold only to bigger parties say so; pick the option on the booking page. | Option | Price | Guide languages | Details | |---|---|---|---| | Guided Intro + Self-led Visit | €79 / person | English | Duration: 45 minutes Independent Visit - Free Route: Your guide will introduce the Colosseum before entry, then you visit on your own, free to explore & stay as long as you wish Small group of Max. 16 people | | English Guided Visit / Max. 7 | €99 / person | English | Group of Max. 7 People Duration: 1 hour Guided Visit - Fixed Route: Your guide enters the Colosseum with you and leads the entire visit on a fixed route where you’ll need to stay with the group | | Spanish Guided Visit / Max. 7 | €109 / person | Spanish | Group of Max. 7 People Duration: 1 hour Guided Visit - Fixed Route: Your guide enters the Colosseum with you and leads the entire visit on a fixed route where you’ll need to stay with the group | | German Guided Visit / Max. 7 | €109 / person | German | Group of Max. 7 People Duration: 1 hour Guided Visit - Fixed Route: Your guide enters the Colosseum with you and leads the entire visit on a fixed route where you’ll need to stay with the group | | French Guided Visit / Max. 7 | €109 / person | French | Group of Max. 7 people Duration: 1 hour Guided Visit - Fixed Route: Your guide enters the Colosseum with you and leads the entire visit on a fixed route where you’ll need to stay with the group | | German Private Tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | German | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | | Portuguese Private Tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | Portuguese | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | | Spanish Private tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | Spanish | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | | English Private Tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | English | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | | Italian Private Tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | Italian | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | | French Private Tour | €319 / person (for 2+ people) | French | Private Guide Duration: 1 hour | ## What's included - Colosseum entry: Regular-access Levels (NO Arena or Underground), worth € 18 - Live expert guide and headsets to hear the guide better - Entry to Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, worth €18 ## Not included - Guide in the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill not included - Arena and Underground access are not included ## Itinerary 1. **Colosseum** (1h; admission included) - Explore the world's most visited monument, in the most complete way!
