The largest stadium of the Roman era, of which only a few remains are visible today. 2. **Sepolcro degli Scipioni** (pass by, no stop) - Shortly after the beginning of the Appian Way, we will come across the tomb of the Scipios, perhaps the most ancient and prestigious Roman family. 3. **Terme di Caracalla** (pass by, no stop) - Driving along the so-called “archaeological walk”, we will encounter on the right the enormous complex of the Baths of Caracalla. 4. **Appian Way (Via Appia Antica)** (pass by, no stop) - After passing the Baths of Caracalla, the Via Appia Antica begins, the most famous Roman road. 5. **Arco di Druso** (pass by, no stop) - After passing the tomb of the Scipios, we will pass under the Arch of Drusus, an imposing monument from the Roman era. 6. **Catacombe di San Callisto** (45m; admission included) - ( OPTIONAL ) Arrived at the catacombs we will be greeted by a lush and unexpected nature, olive trees, roads with cypresses and green meadows, it will seem to be in Tuscany!
