Unlike many standard tours, every trip is led by an experienced Marine Biologist who shares fascinating insights into humpback whale behavior, migration, communication, and conservation throughout the journey. Our tours are intentionally operated with small groups, allowing for a more personal experience, better wildlife viewing opportunities, and plenty of time to ask questions. Cabo Trek is actively involved in photo-identification research, contributing valuable data that helps scientists monitor individual humpback whales and better understand their population. By joining this tour, you're supporting a company committed to marine conservation and responsible wildlife tourism. Combined with breathtaking scenery, expert interpretation, and respectful whale watching practices, this experience offers much more than simply spotting whales, it provides a deeper connection with one of nature's most extraordinary migrations. ## Before you book - Meeting point: The Office is inside the Tesoro Hotel… - Max 10 people: small group - 4 start times: between 08:00 and 14:30 **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €90 per person for the Whale Watching - GROUP 9:00 AM option; other options up to €99 - Duration: 2h 30m - Rating: 4.94/5 from 1065 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Operator: Cabo Trek - Group: Shared, up to 10 travellers - Guide languages: English, Spanish - Start times: 08:00, 09:00, 11:00, 14:30 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-08 ## Reviews 4.94 from 1065 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 99% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 1052 of 1065. - 5 stars: 1022 (96%) - 4 stars: 30 (3%) - 3 stars: 5 (0%) - 2 stars: 4 (0%) - 1 star: 4 (0%) ## Tour options Prices are the operator's current list price for two travellers (whole euros); options sold only to bigger parties say so; pick the option on the booking page. | Option | Price | Guide languages | Details | |---|---|---|---| | Whale Watching - GROUP 9:00 AM | €90 / person | Spanish, English | Whale Watching - Group 9:00AM: Groups of maximum 10-12 people | | Whale Watching-GROUP 08:00AM | €90 / person | Spanish, English | Groups of maximum 10-12 people | | Whale Watching-GROUP 02:30PM | €90 / person | Spanish, English | Whale Watching-GROUP 02:30AM: Groups of maximum 10-12 people | | Whale Watching - GROUP 11:00AM | €99 / person | Spanish, English | Whale Watching-GROUP 11:00AM: Groups of maximum 10-12 people | ## What's included - Bottled water - Marine park fees - Marine biologist guide - 2.5-hours boat ride ## Not included - Souvenir photos (available to purchase) - Hotel pickup and drop-off ## Schedule - Runs: daily - Departures: 08:00, 09:00, 11:00, 14:30 - Schedule last checked: 2026-10-08 - These are published departures, not a live seat count; availability is confirmed at checkout. ## Cancellation For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. ## Meeting point The Office is inside the Tesoro Hotel Local A-20, right at the marina of Cabo San Lucas.
