## Overview

Casa Pedregal is one of the key works of Luis Barragán, the only Mexican architect to have won the Pritzker Prize.

He built it on the lava of the Xitle volcano, integrating the volcanic rock into the garden instead of removing it. Colored walls, water mirrors, and a handling of light that changes the entire house throughout the day.
