## FAQ

**Should I combine Tulum ruins with Akumal turtles or reef snorkelling?**

For Akumal with your own party, choose Private Tulum, Cenote & Turtles; for a shared reef and ceremony outing, choose Tulum, Reef, Cenote & Ceremony. Both add a cenote; turtle sightings are not guaranteed. For example, Private Tulum, Cenote & Turtles is private, at €270 per person, rated 5 from 239 reviews. Tulum, Reef, Cenote & Ceremony is shared, at €117 per person, rated 4.82 from 4,340 reviews. The private tour has a minimum party size and lunch costs extra; the shared tour adds marine conservation and Tulum park fees. Explore Akumal combinations: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/akumal-turtle-snorkeling/ · Explore snorkelling tours: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/snorkeling-playa-del-carmen/

**How much do shared and private Tulum tours cost for a couple or family?**

For a couple or family, choose shared if your budget is near €99 per person. Private tours have a €255 median per person, so budget for each paying guest. Across this page, the median per person is €181, with the middle half from €99 to €255. Shared and private medians describe a spread between different products, not a premium for the same tour. For example, Private Tulum & Cenotes lists €227 per person, rated 5 from 101 reviews. Add any charges the listing marks as extra. Filter Tulum tours by price: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/tulum-ruins-from-playa-del-carmen/?price_max=100 · Explore private Tulum tours: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/tulum-ruins-from-playa-del-carmen/?tour_type=private

**How long should I allow for a Tulum ruins tour, especially with Coba?**

Give Tulum and Coba a full day of their own: the combination's median duration is 9.5 hours. The median across this page is 7 hours. The Coba median covers 8 tours on this page that also appear in the Coba category. For example, Exclusive Private Tulum & Coba lists €255 per person, rated 4.99 from 343 reviews. Its entries are included; a minimum party size applies and lunch costs extra. These are advertised tour durations, without a separate breakdown of driving and time at each site. Browse Coba combinations: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/coba-ruins-tours/

**Can I take a Tulum ruins tour without swimming?**

Choose Tulum Ruins Guided Tour if you want a visit without swimming; budget separately for the site entrance, paid at the gate. A shared option for ruins without a swim, Tulum Ruins Guided Tour is €61 per person, rated 4.76 from 505 reviews. Browse Tulum ruins itineraries: https://guidekin.com/mexico/playa-del-carmen/tulum-ruins-from-playa-del-carmen/

**Are Tulum and cenote entry fees included, or will I pay extra on the day?**

Allow for extras even with entry included: Tulum & Cenote Adventure adds a park conservation fee; VIP Tulum Private Tour includes the entries but leaves lunch extra. VIP Tulum Private Tour includes Tulum and cenote entries at €227 per person, rated 4.99 from 510 reviews. For example, shared Tulum & Cenote Adventure includes Tulum and cenote entry but charges the Tulum park conservation fee separately: €99 per person, rated 4.95 from 277 reviews.
