# Marrakech Moroccan Cooking Class — Tajine & Mint Tea | Riad Nelia

In our comparison: #23 of 32 in Cooking Classes, by rating weighted by review volume (table below).

## Overview

Experience Moroccan culinary tradition at its finest inside the beautiful Riad Nelia. This hands-on cooking class is more than just a recipe — it's a complete cultural and gastronomic journey.

With your dedicated chef guiding you every step of the way, you'll learn to prepare a classic chicken tajine from scratch: selecting and blending the perfect spice mix, marinating the ingredients, and mastering the slow-cooking technique that makes Moroccan cuisine so distinctive. You'll also discover the ritual of Moroccan mint tea — its preparation, history, and significance in daily Moroccan life.

At the end of the session, sit down together at a beautifully laid table to enjoy the full meal you've created, complete with fresh bread, mint tea, and a traditional dessert. You'll leave with your recipe card, a certificate of completion, and the confidence to recreate authentic Moroccan flavors back home.

**Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point
