Led by an expert art historian, this tour delves deep into the life, artistry, and inspirations of Vincent van Gogh. You'll explore why Van Gogh took up painting at 27, the profound influence of his beloved brother Theo, and the complex relationships that shaped his life. Gain a deep understanding of Van Gogh’s different artistic periods, from the somber tones of his “dark period” in Brabant to the vibrant experiments during his Paris years, and the tumultuous time in the Yellow House with Gauguin in Arles. The tour also explores the poignant end of his life—Vincent’s tragic death at 37, followed by his brother Theo’s passing just months later—and the remarkable woman who played a crucial role in cementing Van Gogh’s legacy. ## Before you book - Meeting point - Min. 2 to book: not for solo travellers - 4 start times: between 10:00 and 14:00 - Wheelchair accessible: operator-marked - Strollers OK: infants accepted **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €190 per person - Duration: 2h–3h - Rating: 4.99/5 from 153 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Operator: Amor Artium - Minimum booking: 2 travellers at this price - Group: Private tour, your party only - Guide languages: English - Start times: 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-22 ## Reviews 4.99 from 153 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 99% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 152 of 153. - 5 stars: 152 (99%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (1%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 star: 0 (0%) ## What's included - Expert Art Historian Guide - Skip-The-Line Access - Ticket entrance van Gogh Museum - Free Lockers Available ## Itinerary 1. **This tour is catered for the real Van Gogh lovers** (2h; admission included) - A private 2 hour long tour through the worlds most extensive collection of Van Gogh paintings and drawings.
