## Overview

Lisbon was built on hills, and locals have always known the payoff: the miradouros, the lookout terraces scattered across the city where the whole of Lisbon opens up beneath you. This small-group evening walk chases the best light of the day across five of them, from the balconies everyone photographs to the quiet corners only locals climb to.

We set off as the afternoon softens and finish with the city glowing under its first lights. Along the way you'll wander cobbled backstreets, pass tiled façades and rattling trams, and stop wherever the view earns it. Your guide knows which terrace catches the sun at which hour, where to stand for the photo, and which kiosk pours the coldest drink while the sky changes colour.

This isn't a march between checkpoints. It's an unhurried sunset, shown the way someone who lives here would show you. Bring comfortable shoes and a camera, and we'll take care of the rest.

## Itinerary

1. **Miradouro da Graça** (25m) - We gather here as the light turns gold, with São Jorge Castle framed across the rooftops.
2. **Miradouro da Senhora do Monte** (20m) - A short climb to the highest terrace in the old city, and the widest view of them all.
3. **Miradouro das Portas do Sol** (25m) - Alfama spilling down to the river in a cascade of terracotta roofs.
4. **Miradouro de Santa Luzia** (20m) - Tiled terraces and bougainvillea, with the Tagus turning pink behind you.
5. **Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara** (35m) - We ride a historic tram across town and finish here as the city lights flicker on, drinks in hand.
