In this guided tour we will explore the interior of the most iconic basilica in Barcelona, revealing the secrets of its design and history. We will enter through the facade of the Birth into a stone forest, with columns imitating trees and stained glass windows that stain the environment with colors. Gaudí was inspired by nature, and here every detail has a meaning. During the visit, we will talk about hidden symbols: turtles in columns, numerical grids numbering 33 and messages on the ceiling. We will also see the sober and dramatic Facade of the Passion, which chronicles the last days of Jesus, with controversial details such as the self-portrait of the sculptor as Pontius Pilate. We will end up in the museum, with original sketches, models and photos of Gaudí. More than 140 years later, his work is still alive... but the tour does come to an end. ## Before you book - Meeting point: Meeting point: in front of the Burger… - 17 start times: between 09:00 and 17:45 - Wheelchair accessible: operator-marked - Strollers OK: infants accepted - Children from €80: ages 4 to 10 **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €99 per person - Duration: 1h 15m - Rating: 4.93/5 from 168 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Operator: HL COMEDY TOURS - Group: Shared tour - Guide languages: English, Spanish - Start times: 17 start times between 09:00 and 17:45 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-10-03 ## Reviews 4.93 from 168 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 99% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 166 of 168. - 5 stars: 160 (95%) - 4 stars: 6 (4%) - 3 stars: 1 (1%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 star: 0 (0%) ### What reviewers say Reviewers praise the guides' knowledge and humour, though some dislike the Spanish and English format. **Praised:** - Clear explanations of the basilica's history and architectural details - Humour and storytelling that keep the tour engaging - Patient guides who welcome questions and include the group - Audio devices that make the guide easy to hear **Complaints:** - Some dislike the Spanish and English format, while others say it works well Written by Guidekin from the 50 most recent English reviews on Viator & Tripadvisor (2025-04-11 to 2026-09-16); last checked 2026-10-03. ## What's included - Learn the stories and legends of the Holy Family. - Guide (In person) ## Itinerary 1. **Facade of birth: Carrer de la Marina 253, 08013 Barcelona History of the Temp...** (15m; admission included) - Facade of birth: Carrer de la Marina 253, 08013 Barcelona History of the Temple: Historical context and initial vision of Antoni Gaudí.
