## Overview

Discover the most emblematic monument of Al-Andalus on a tour of the extraordinary Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. Our guides will take you back to the days when Spain and the Iberian peninsula were ruled by the Umayyad Caliphate and learn about the history of the monument with the help of an authorized interpreter from the Mosque-Cathedral monumental complex.

Stroll through the beautiful forest of ancient marble, granite and jasper columns. Get explanations about the different parts of the building, from typical Umayyad-style features to later Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque additions.

Hear how the power changed over time and discover how the mosque became a Catholic cathedral after Ferdinand III’s seizure of Cordoba in the 13th century.
