# "Stargate" Tenerife stargazing

**Guidekin's take:** Built around one instrument: the oversized Stargate telescope that shows galaxies millions of light years out to the naked eye, with an astro camera feed, blankets and hot tea. €65 per person and a perfect 5 from 48 reviews.

In our comparison: #1 of 6 in Stargazing & Teide by Night, by rating weighted by review volume (table below).

## Overview

This is an amazing project! Observing galaxies millions of light years away is particularly challenging, but you can see them with your own eyes through the extremely large "Stargate" telescope! The special astro camera mounted on the telescope allows us to take detailed and impressive images. The program leader is a National Geographic Hungary recognized astrophotographer, and the images taken during the evening will be given to the participants as a free souvenir. This is a great way to take home the starry sky of Teide.
