Guidekin is an online marketplace that connects travelers with licensed local tour guides in Portugal. We provide a platform for guides to list their tours and for travelers to discover and book experiences.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using guidekin.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

3. User Accounts

Guide accounts: To list tours on Guidekin, you must register as a guide and provide accurate information, including a valid Portuguese tourism license number (RNAAT or SNATTI). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Account accuracy: You agree to provide truthful and up-to-date information. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with false or misleading information.

4. Tour Listings

As a guide, you agree that:

• All tour information (descriptions, pricing, photos, itineraries) is accurate and not misleading
• You hold all necessary licenses and permits to operate tours in Portugal
• You have the right to use all photos and content you upload
• Tour pricing is transparent and includes all mandatory fees

Guidekin reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any tour listing that violates these terms or our content guidelines.

5. Content Moderation

All new tours are subject to review before being published on the platform. We may request changes or decline listings that do not meet our quality standards or violate our policies.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you create (tour descriptions, photos, etc.). By uploading content to Guidekin, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on our platform and marketing channels.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape or collect data from our platform without permission
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees (once payment system is implemented)

8. Third-Party Content

Our platform may display tour information from third-party providers (such as Viator). We do not guarantee the accuracy of third-party content and are not responsible for experiences provided by external operators.

9. Limitation of Liability

Guidekin acts as a marketplace connecting guides and travelers. We are not a tour operator and do not provide tours directly. We are not liable for:

• The quality or safety of tours listed on the platform
• Actions or omissions of tour guides or travelers
• Loss, injury, or damage arising from tour participation
• Service interruptions or technical issues

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal.
