Compare Edinburgh's medieval Old Town, where people lived in cramped conditions, to the elegant Georgian New Town. Enjoy undivided attention and learn all about this fascinating city on this 4-hour panoramic tour. Drive down the Royal Mile (with stops along the way for photographs, exploring, a little retail therapy if time permits & coffee!!), and experience ancient Edinburgh. At the bottom of The Royal Mile sits The Palace of Holyroodhouse, the official Scottish residence of the Monarch which was built in the 16th Century. Your tour will take you past the Scottish Parliament and round Edinburgh's extinct volcano, "Arthur's Seat" and then into the "New Town" to see the difference between the old medieval and "New" Georgian cities. ## Before you book - Hotel pickup: from 150 pickup points - Starts 09:00, 14:00: 2 departures a day - Wheelchair accessible: operator-marked - Strollers OK: infants accepted ## Key facts - Price: from €506 per group/vehicle - Duration: 4h - Rating: 4.8/5 from 69 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Recommended by 94% of travellers (share of four- and five-star reviews) - Operator: Ecosse Executive ## What's included - Private tour - Driver/guide - Hotel/port pickup and drop-off ## Not included - Gratuities - Optional entrances ## Itinerary 1. **Royal Mile** (4h) - Edinburghs medieval city ## Schedule - Runs: daily - Departures: 09:00, 14:00 - Schedule last checked: 2026-10-01 - These are published departures, not a live seat count; availability is confirmed at checkout. ## Cancellation For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
