What's rappelling? It's a popular adventure/gravity sport that includes a descent from a cliff or wall using anchored ropes. Under supervision and instruction from expert guides, you’ll use professional equipment to descend into nature in the Maui location featured in the movie Jurassic Park. Great for active families, couples, groups and solo travelers with an appreciation for dynamic outdoor excursions. Minimum age of 10; minimum weight of 70 lbs., maximum weight of 250 lbs., and waist measurement between 22 and 48 inches. All gear (including shoes) provided. RAIN or SHINE: We go to the rainforest. Waterfalls are naturally occurring phenomena changing rapidly at any time. When the streams flood due to rain and the falls are roaring or swollen, and we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls, we rappel 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course. ## Before you book - Meeting point: Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour… - 4 start times: between 08:00 and 13:00 - Food included: Seasonal snacks - Age rule: Minimum age is 10 years old. **Pickup:** No hotel pickup: everyone meets at the start point ## Key facts - Price: from €219 per person - Duration: 3h - Rating: 4.88/5 from 477 reviews (collected from Guidekin & Viator & Tripadvisor) - Free cancellation (see policy below) - Likely to sell out - Operator: Canyoning Maui, LLC, dba Rappel Maui - Group: Shared tour - Guide languages: English - Start times: 08:00, 09:00, 11:30, 13:00 - Booking: Instant confirmation, mobile ticket - Price checked on Viator: 2026-11-07 ## Reviews 4.88 from 477 ratings on Guidekin, Viator & Tripadvisor. 97% of ratings with a star breakdown are 4 or 5 stars: 465 of 477. - 5 stars: 441 (92%) - 4 stars: 24 (5%) - 3 stars: 5 (1%) - 2 stars: 3 (1%) - 1 star: 4 (1%) ## Tour options Prices are the operator's current list price for two travellers (whole euros); options sold only to bigger parties say so; pick the option on the booking page. | Option | Price | Guide languages | Details | |---|---|---|---| | 1:00 PM Tour | €219 / person | English | - | | 8:00 AM Tour | €219 / person | English | - | | 11:45 AM Tour | €219 / person | English | - | | 9:15 AM Tour | €219 / person | English | - | ## What's included - Professional guide - All taxes, fees and handling charges - Seasonal snacks ## Not included - Gratuities - Hotel pickup and drop-off ## Schedule - Runs: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat - Departures: 08:00, 09:00, 11:30, 13:00 - Schedule last checked: 2026-11-07 - These are published departures, not a live seat count; availability is confirmed at checkout. ## Cancellation For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. ## Meeting point Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour time and map location & travel time before leaving accommodations.
