2. **Kailua Beach Park** (30m) - Kailua Beach is where we launch our kayaks and land upon return. Its well known for being one of the most family friendly beaches on Oahu.
3. **Koolaus Mountains** (pass by, no stop) - Take in the Ko’olau Mountains, one of Oahu’s most iconic natural landmarks. This ancient volcanic mountain range runs along the island’s eastern side, its emerald-green cliffs and jagged peaks rising above Windward Oahu.
4. **Lanikai Pillbox Trail** (pass by, no stop) - You will have excellent views of the Kaiwa Ridge, home to the popular Pillbox hike. Two WWII-era concrete lookouts sit along the crest, and from below you can spot them against the skyline.
