The Douro River, in the city of Porto, offers an unforgettable view with its historic riverbanks, the Port wine cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, and the iconic Luís I Bridge. It’s perfect for walking tours, boat rides, or simply enjoying the sunset in a unique and authentic setting.

Dom Luis I Bridge Stop 2
The most iconic bridge in Greater Porto. Arched bridge with road on the lower level and metro line on the upper level between Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. This construction replaced the old suspension bridge that existed on the same site and was carried out through a project by the Belgian engineer Théophile Seyrig, who had previously collaborated with Gustave Eiffel in the construction of the D. Maria Pia railway bridge.
