The Bastei rock formation has plenty viewpoints over the Elbe canyon on the right bank of the river Elbe. You can walk across the famous sandstone bridge that connects Bastei and explore ruins of old Neurathen rock castle.

After a delicious lunch in a local restaurant, discover this rich city with medevial foundations and popular as a spa resort and royal retreat.
