Start point

We meet in front of “Cafe le Nemours” on Place Colette. The nearest metro station is Palais Royal, be sure to take exit 5 “Place Colette“. As you come out of the metro exit, turn around and you will see Cafe le Nemours. Our guide will be there holding a “Walks in Europe” sign.

End point

Tour ends at the Museum so you can stay longer if you wish.

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • In our semi-private tours, the total number of people in each group is limited to 6. If the group is larger, it may be split into different groups on the day of the tour at the meeting point so each guide gets 6 people each.
  • All customers will have to go through security to enter the Louvre. This line may be long in high season.
  • Consider traffic in Paris and please leave early to make it on time for your tour. It is not possible to join the tour after it has started
  • Please note: Ages 2 and younger are not permitted on this tour.
  • Clients must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of the tour. This is due to the timed entry of the tickets.
  • Tickets can only be used once. You will not be able to get back in if you leave one of the museum wings.
  • Please be advised that it is not possible to join the tour after it has started.
  • Please remember to bring valid identification documents with you, considering monument entrances and security checks within the city.
  • Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
  • No backpacks, umbrellas or big bags are allowed in to the museum.
  • Strikes at the Louvre may happen and the Museum may decide to close with no prior notice. If this happens, a refund is not possible.
  • Free museum admission applies to visitors under 18 and EEA residents under 26, upon presentation of valid ID and proof of residency. All participants must reserve our guided visit in order to attend the tour, no matter their age.
  • The 2026 Louvre entry fee is €28 per person.
