At a location the ancient Greeks believed to be the center of the earth we will see the most important oracle of its time and some amazing ancient temples,plus an super intresting museum collection.
2h · Admission not includedWith this tour you will have the opportunity to spend a day at the one of the most important ancient sites of Greece.Delphi was considered by the ancient Greeks to be the center of the earth so they found this location perfect to host the famous oracle where Pythia gave her predictions about the future and were respected by everyone.Nowadays,Delphi is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in having had a phenomenal influence in the ancient world.Right next is the small traditional town of Arachova offering some great views of the whole area as it is built on the side of the Mt Parnassus and it is the ideal place to have a quick lunch before we take the way back to Athens.But we are not quite done yet,as down the road lays the most important byzantine monastery of Greece,Osios Loukas where we can admire the special byzantine architecture.
