Guidekin's take

Skip the line tickets, a licensed guide and a personal radio headset from €18 per person, with check in at an office by the Vatican walls so you are not hunting for a flag on the street.

The Basilica is only in the three site options, and after mid afternoon it is self guided. Timed entry, late arrivals are not admitted or refunded.

In our comparison: #118 of 138 in Vatican, Sistine Chapel & St Peter's Tours, by rating weighted by review volume (see the comparison).
