About this tour, from the operator
What sets this experience apart is the combination of a complete Sacred Valley journey with a private guided visit to Machu Picchu for every booking party—even when you choose the group option. In Chinchero, go beyond a standard sightseeing stop with a local Andean cultural experience featuring traditional weaving, natural-dye demonstrations, and the opportunity to see llamas and alpacas. Continue through Moray, the Maras Salt Mines, and Ollantaytambo, with entrance tickets and an included buffet lunch in Urubamba. Travel by train to Aguas Calientes, stay overnight in a 3-star hotel with breakfast, and visit Machu Picchu the following day with a private guide exclusively for your booking party. Choose between shared or fully private Sacred Valley options, including private transportation on the private services and Expedition or Vistadome train options.

MANDATORY BOOKING INFORMATION: Immediately after booking, please provide the following details for EVERY traveler: full name exactly as shown on the passport, passport number, date of birth, nationality, gender, and passport expiration date. These details are required to issue your Machu Picchu entrance tickets. Without complete and accurate information, we may be unable to secure your tickets.
IMPORTANT – MACHU PICCHU TICKETS: Once your Machu Picchu entrance ticket has been issued, it is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or changed to another date. Please verify your travel date and passport details carefully before booking. A new ticket must be purchased if a different visit date is required.
Machu Picchu Circuit Assignment: We always prioritize Circuit 2 when issuing your entrance ticket. If Circuit 2 is unavailable, we will contact you before issuance to explain the available alternatives, such as Circuit 3 or Circuit 1. If only one circuit remains available, we will notify you before proceeding. Book as far in advance as possible for the best chance of securing Circuit 2.
Pre-Tour Briefing: Before the tour, your guide or a member of our team will visit your hotel in Cusco to provide a complete briefing with important information about the itinerary, pickup time, train schedules, Machu Picchu visit, recommendations, and any final details. The exact briefing time will be confirmed with you in advance, usually the day before the tour.
Vistadome Train Option: This option includes an Expedition train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes and a Vistadome train on the return journey. Due to current train schedules, the Vistadome service is used only for the return, as outbound departure times do not fit the Day 1 itinerary.
Tour Schedule: Your pickup time and final schedule will be confirmed one day before the tour and explained during your pre-tour briefing. All pickup, train, bus, and transfer times are organized around your assigned Machu Picchu entrance time, so schedules may vary depending on ticket availability.
Original Passport Required: Each traveler must bring the original passport used to issue the Machu Picchu ticket. If you renew your passport before the tour, you must bring both the old passport used for the reservation and the new valid passport.
Private Machu Picchu Guide: No matter which tour option you choose, your Machu Picchu visit will always be privately guided exclusively for your booking party.
Overnight Luggage: For the overnight stay in Aguas Calientes, we recommend bringing a small backpack with a change of clothes and essentials, or a small carry-on suitcase.
Our Commitment: We aim to provide a refined, high-quality experience in every tour option, with careful attention to detail, comfort, and personalized service. Our goal is for you to leave Peru with unforgettable memories and the feeling that every part of your journey was well taken care of.
