HIGHLIGHTS THIS WEEK: No moon on tour so high visibility and milky way very visable. Northern Cross, Vega, Aquila, Summer Triangle, Pegasus, Deneb, Saturn, Pleiades, Big Dipper, Acturus, Hercules, Andromeda, Casiopia, Sagittarius, Draco, Aquarius, Opheucus, Altair, and many more! This engaging and entertaining tour is threefold: (1) Greek and local indigenous constellation star stories (2) Phenomenal "Big Picture" astronomy featuring amazing visual of the sky dance of the cosmos on you can see with your own eyes (no telescopes) from the perspective of earth as we travel through our solar system and galaxy :) (3) connections to my day time tour...The Experiential And Scientific Vortex Tour. The stars tell some of its amazing history :) Please come join us under the cool night sky and prepare to "meet the Stars" goaling to increase your magic with them :) We stay at one location and there are chairs to sit in. Please refrain from bringing pets and alcohol. Thank you so much!
2hCredentials continued: I have lived, adventured, and explored this area with a passion. I think the reviews of my Experiential and Scientific Vortex Tour also advertised on on this Viator site speak to this. What I impart on this Night Sky Tour as the tie in to my Vortex Tour is an amazing summation I'd say. It's a culmination of three decades of searching and synchronistic experiences, and encountering amazing teachers of all walks of life. Honestly, I would have paid MUCH more than the price of this tour to have had all the stories and information on this Night Sky Tour imparted to me in 2005 when I started as a professional guide. IF all of what I've said speaks to you, thank you very much for your interest in it all :) The name of my company is Adventure Explore and Soar. An unfixable technical error happened at the start up of this site and is the reason my site name is my name rather than the name of my company. I'm good with it though, perhaps it was meant to be :)
1 minIF THE WEATHER IS CLOUDY: Clouds happen seldom In Sedona at night as we only get an average of 17 inches of rainfall a year. However, it can happen. Some who book this tour are concerned about if it’s cloudy the night of the tour and we are already inside the time frame of the 24 cancellation policy. This information is intended to put your mind at ease with this. IF IT'S CLOUDY THE NIGHT OF YOUR TOUR, YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO CANCEL FOR A FULL REFUND, BASED ON YOUR DISCRETION, REGARDLESS OF THE 24 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY. YOU CAN EVEN STAY FOR THE WHOLE TOUR AND STILL ASK FOR A REFUND. The idea here is to give the tour a chance to take place. The clouds often clear shortly before the tour and make for a beautiful night because the "micro climate chimney winds" coming out of the Oak Creek canyon that change directions at night and often push the clouds out. :)
1 minCredentials: I've been doing night sky tours for over six years. I added it to this site on Viator June of 2022. I have been a night sky enthusiast all my life and have been on many star tours. I have thought extensively about space and the cosmos and have asked many questions. The astronomy concepts I present are my favorites of what I call "Big Picture Astronomy" as we travel amongst our solar system and galaxy on "Spaceship Earth". :) I think you will be amazed! The story telling is greatly enhanced I'd say by my love for telling them :) I'm also a musician, actor, dancer, practice mma, climb, swim, run, play basketball, and do many other physical activities that I'd say very much help my liveliness in it all :) I fell in love with Sedona in 1996 passing through and decided to stay. I started professional tour guiding in 2005 and have conducted thousands of tours of different kinds. I'm a well-known guide and guide trainer in Sedona, especially at Safari Tours :)
1 minThe threefold tour mentioned above is a very unique line up :).
The astronomy concepts presented and aided by the models and
many of the stories play off of the concepts and even connect many what would seem like hidden aspects of our modern culture to the ancient past.
This tour represents the culmination of a lifetime of seeking adventure and the desire to answer questions. Thank you very much for your interest ::)
