In Cascais, the hidden pearl of the Atlantic, we will stop for lunch at the fishing village and visit. Cascais began as a fishing village in the 19th century. XIX with the arrival of the Portuguese royal family, King Dom Luís and his wife Dona Maria Pia de Saboia, which became a summer village for the royal family and Portuguese nobles. Its typical fishermen's houses, the beaches bathed by the Atlantic and illuminated by the radiant Sun of Cascais give this town a unique charm which fell in love with European Kings during World War II who went into exile here in the town of Cascais and which led to a wave of popularity that was enjoyed by the rich and famous in Portugal and beyond.
