Lunch is also included so that you may appreciate the local gastronomy and before returning to Porto, stop in Valença do Minho for a guided tour through the old town.

Itinerary

Porto Stop 1
Early in the Morning your guide will pick you from your accommodation on a confortable vehicle and will drive you up north, crossing the boarder and entering Spain on the way to Santiago de Compostela. During this journey, the guide will give you insights and information regarding the North of Portugal, the Spanish region of Galicia, Santiago de Compostela, St.James and about the path of Saint James.

Santiago de Compostela Stop 2
Arriving to Santiago 2h30m after leaving Porto, the guide will show you the historical center of Santiago and take you to the entrance of Santiago Cathedral. Then you will have free time to visit the inside of the cathedral on your own and to attend to a mass or check the "Botafumeiro" celebration.

Santiago de Compostela. Casco Historico Stop 3
On the historical centre of Santiago, on a traditional tapas restaurant a full gastronomic experience will be served! Including multiple Spanish tapas and drinks you will be able to try some of the local special dishes.

Valenca Stop 4
On the way to Portugal, before the return to Porto, we will do one stop at the boarder, at Valença do Minho. An historical village in Portugal, famous by its fortness "Vauban" style! It has many local shops where you will be able to check and buy some local art and crafts.

Around 6PM, your guide will leave you at your accommodation or any desire location in Porto city.
